About Fidelis
Fidelis Art Prints (FAP) is a fine art digital printmaking studio and boutique publisher based in beautiful Vancouver, Western Canada. We have a partnership of three creative individuals, myself (Karen), Alan (who is my brother) and Jan who has been a long time friend and co-worker.
We love what we do and we are fortunate to earn a comfortable living working in our chosen field(s). Being self-employed allows for us to enjoy our families and friends while affording to live in the most beautiful (and “lifestyle-oriented”) region of North America.
Fidelis Art Prints is successful because our partner skills, business and life experiences have given us the tools we needed to survive economic shifts, new competitors, equipment meltdowns and everyday surprises. We’ve had some rough times but have always taken those opportunities to grow and learn.
Our business continues to grow every year (over 10%) due to our loyal clients, whom we always appreciate, respect and do our very best to serve each time they give us the opportunity.

So Why Create the Fidelis Weblog?
We dedicate a crazy amount of time to researching our field, exploring new techniques, testing new equipment, marketing our art collections and building relationships with our clients; the Blog format offers us an effective way to communicate with our community and stay in touch more regularly with our clients.
We hope that through reading our regular posts and articles (about 2-3 per week) artists and the creative community will further their education and understanding about the fine art of digital printmaking and become empowered to print, publish and market their artwork. We want to help you be successful, create fine quality artwork and profit from what you love to do.

In 1992, the owners of Fidelis Art Prints Inc. began working together for Vancouver’s premier photo-imaging lab, Gamma Pro Imaging (Gamma). Gamma was well known for staying on the leading edge of technology and for building long term business relationships with leading artists, photographers, museums, motion picture firms and corporations. In 2003, the archival inkjet printmaking and imaging department at Gamma became known Gamma Editions—a name that better reflected its focus on fine art printmaking. …Read more

Making Payment
Fidelis Art Prints accepts Cash, Debit, VISA and MasterCard. Personal cheques require 2 pieces of ID (one credit card). Business cheques require a Purchase Order Number from your accounting office.
All projects require a deposit at time of order or once approval is made to the final Proof. Balance is due on completion of order. No delivery of final prints (or return of original) is provided until final payment is received or special arrangements have been agreed.
