Fred Herzog Exhibition at Equinox Gallery
Fred is back at the Equinox Gallery, exhibiting November 4 thru December 12th with never seen before photographs from his landmark collection. This exhibition includes never seen before images from Fred’s personal collection spanning the past fifty years (1955-2009). “Locations” addresses Fred’s artistic approach to capturing the world on film. Don’t worry, you will still find some Vancouver photographs in this new body of work. And be sure to add his new book to your Christmas List!

Roy Arden brings photo history to the Vancouver Convention Center
We are really excited about the completion of Roy Arden’s new public art pieces for the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCCEP). Fidelis’s, Jan Hynek contributed digital work assistance on Roy Arden’s 2 new murals – ‘Big House’ 2008 and ‘People of British Columbia’ 2009, for the VCCEP, as well as the interactive interpretive kiosk designed by Karo Design group. Please take the time to see the 195-ft long “Big House” artwork—VERY IMPRESSIVE. Thank you Roy, for allowing Fidelis to be a part of this process. And congratulations to Roy and Karo Design for bringing art and history to life in such a successful way.
